MULBERRY SILK YARN

Silk cultivation is practised as a "ccottage industry" spread over close to sixty thousand villages, covering twenty five Indian states. It's a labour intensive industry providing gainful rural employment to more than seven million people (mostly women). My India Tour's project was started during the Covid pandemic, supporting artisans we they had met on their travels over the years.
